- Before lighting your candle, always trim the wick to approximately 4mm (1/8 inch) in length. This helps prevent excessive smoke and ensures a clean, even burn.
3. Allow for a Full Wax Pool:
- During the first burn, allow the candle to burn until the entire top layer of wax becomes a liquid pool that reaches the edges of the container. This prevents the formation of a "memory ring" and ensures an even burn in subsequent uses.
4. Keep Away from Children and Pets:
- Place candles out of the reach of children and pets. Ensure that they cannot accidentally knock over a lit candle.
5. Avoid Drafts:
- Keep candles away from open windows, fans, air conditioning vents, and drafts. Drafts can cause uneven burning, excessive smoke, and potential hazards.
